WOMEN’S HEALTH SERVICES, VARICOSE VEIN CARE, PHYSICIAN SUPERVISED AESTHETICS COMING TO ONE McCLURE PLACE AT CHAFFEE CROSSING
FORT SMITH, Ark. (July 2, 2018) – Health care services will be expanding soon in the Chaffee Crossing area of Fort Smith. ERC Holdings announces that two local healthcare providers will open practices at its new commercial complex, One McClure Place, located at 8101 McClure Drive. Beginning in October 2018, Women’s Center for Health and Wellness and Arkansas Vein Clinic and Skin Care will open practices in the second building to be completed at One McClure Place. These will be the fourth and fifth healthcare related practices in Chaffee Crossing.
ERC began construction of the first of three buildings at One McClure Place in 2017. The second and third buildings are currently under construction. Bob Cooper of Ghan & Cooper Commercial Properties worked with the ERC team, Dr. Wood and Dr. Smith Basinger to develop the concept for the shared-space clinic. Approximately 3,000 sq.ft. of “build to suit” space is available for lease in Building #2 and 6,000 sq. ft. in Building #3. For leasing information, contact Bob Cooper of Ghan & Cooper Commercial Properties, 479.478.6161, bob@nullrhghan.com.
Rod Coleman and the ERC team are committed to creating spaces where people can “Live Inspired” and “Thrive” in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Coleman says his staff works with designers around the country to “imagine new ways to make every day experiences exciting, inviting, attractive, and user-friendly. There is no reason why Fort Smith residents shouldn’t enjoy the same environments, conveniences, and amenities as people in larger metropolitan areas. We believe it is a great time to invest in Fort Smith and we are committed to doing that in a way that improves our overall quality of life by attracting and retaining innovative health care providers like Dr. Wood and Dr. Smith Basinger.”
Since he arrived in 2007, Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority executive director Ivy Owen has had a goal of attracting a wide array of healthcare services to Chaffee Crossing. Owen spearheaded a revised master land use plan in 2008 that allows healthcare services in close proximity to residential neighborhoods. Owen recalls, “We talked then about locating clinics within a short walk or bike ride from a resident’s front door. ERC shares our vision and found a way to make their commercial development complement the area in a way that is convenient and attractive for homebuyers, and good for the entire community. We couldn’t be happier with the location of these two medical practices near multiple neighborhoods.”
